DDRT has King Sooper cards. They are 5.00 if you pick up at meet and greets or 5.50 if we mail them, we had to down load 5.00 to each card that is why they cost. They are SIMPLE to use and DDRT makes monies. You take the card into King Sooper, download monies onto the card, then when you purchase your groceries use your card. King Sooper tracks the monies and DDRT receives 5% of all monies spent over $5,500.00 So let’s shop and help DDRT!

Hogs for Hounds Scavenger Hunt*Aug 8 2015*9am-2pm
This Saturday 8/8/15 is the Hogs for Hounds Scavenger Hunt! We will have some great prizes including a $150 Harley Davidson Gift Certificate! Come on out and have some fun while supporting the Doxies with the Denver Dachshunds Rescue and Transport. The hunt ends (last-in 2pm) at Westy Fest. DDRT has begun to build Liberty Ranch to create a fun, safe place to be able to help many more dachshunds, dachshund mixes and other breeds begin to heal. Many need medical help, emotional stability or just simply love and attention. Liberty Ranch will become that place.

DDRT will have a meet & greet / adoption event this Sunday, June 21st from 11am to 4pm at the Tiffany Plaza Petco. The weather will be nice so come out to meet the DDRT Doxie Team and to adopt your new best friend!
We’d also like to ask for a little help, with the mad rush of dogs coming in to DDRT we are running low on some supplies. We are in need of dry dog food first and foremost. We could also use cleaning supplies such as paper towels, mop heads and antibacterial cleaners. Any donations can be dropped off at one of our meet and greets or at Parkside Animal Health Care at 5001 S Parker Rd Suite 101 in Aurora. We can also pick them up if needed. We are a 501c3 non-profit and your donations are tax deductible. Thank you for your support!

1pm – The 2015 Rocky Mountain Pet Expo Pet Fashion Show will be spotlighting Barking Bitches apparel from Colorado dog designer Ken Carrick.
Dogs of all sizes will be strutting their stuff in a variety of designs from Barking Bitches | Dog Apparel and Accessories on the fashion catwalk…..or should we say fashion dogwalk !
You will see products to pamper your pooch, functional clothing, working dog clothes and their new diva dog clothing line. Cheer on our models and get some fashion ideas for your dogs!
**RULES-You May Bring Your Pet!**
(1) Your pet must be at least one year old, spayed or neutered and must be on a leash at all times (non-retractable and no longer than 6′) or in a pet enclosure.
(2) Your pet must be up-to-date on all its vaccinations or you should plan to have your pet’s vaccinations at the event. Anyone bringing a pet is required to sign a liability waiver upon entering the Rocky Mountain Pet Expo. To save time feel free to download the waiver and bring the completed form to the show.
