Meet & Greet*November 8 2015*11am-4pm

Many of our dachshunds come from very poor conditions. They have never had proper medical care, toys or good nutrition to be happy and healthy. Our furkids receive all of these things while they are waiting for their furever families to find them. Good food, toys, a soft clean bed to sleep in and medical care to live long healthy lives. Hogs for Hounds Scavenger Hunt*Aug 8 2015*9am-2pm

This Saturday 8/8/15 is the Hogs for Hounds Scavenger Hunt! We will have some great prizes including a $150 Harley Davidson Gift Certificate! Come on out and have some fun while supporting the Doxies with the Denver Dachshunds Rescue and Transport. The hunt ends (last-in 2pm) at Westy Fest. Ride fee is $20…..you can’t even go to the movies for that anymore. Meet & Greet*July19th 2015*12-3pm

Hi All,
As some of you know, I will be hosting a donation/adoption event to support Denver Dachshund Rescue and Transport next Sunday, July 19th, from Noon – 3pm.

1565 Spruce St., Denver, CO 80220

Denver Dashchund Rescue and Transport is close to my heart, as this is where I found little Sally, who unfortunately passed away in December of last year. The rescue organization helps hundreds of dogs each year and works tirelessly to ensure their safety and health while with them. They go above and beyond to give these beautiful dogs another chance at life. Because of the amazing work they do, I feel it’s important to give back, and part of each commission I earn, will go back to support this organization.

From a donation perspective, they are looking for paper towels, cleaning supplies, dog toys, dog blankets or beds, dog food, and of course any cash donations are appreciated. As well, adoptable dogs will be here and waiting to find their forever homes with you!

We will have giveaways, prizes, and hot dogs on the grill (what else would you expect from a dachshund and dogs event?!?!). 🙂 Please come out and support this organization and the work they do, I promise it will be a lot of fun!

Meet & Greet at Petco*June 21st 2015*11-4

DDRT will have a meet & greet / adoption event this Sunday, June 21st from 11am to 4pm at the Tiffany Plaza Petco. The weather will be nice so come out to meet the DDRT Doxie Team and to adopt your new best friend!

We’d also like to ask for a little help, with the mad rush of dogs coming in to DDRT we are running low on some supplies. We are in need of dry dog food first and foremost. We could also use cleaning supplies such as paper towels, mop heads and antibacterial cleaners. Any donations can be dropped off at one of our meet and greets or at Parkside Animal Health Care at 5001 S Parker Rd Suite 101 in Aurora. We can also pick them up if needed. We are a 501c3 non-profit and your donations are tax deductible. Thank you for your support!

STAGE PRESENTATIONS

1pm – The 2015 Rocky Mountain Pet Expo Pet Fashion Show will be spotlighting Barking Bitches apparel from Colorado dog designer Ken Carrick.

Dogs of all sizes will be strutting their stuff in a variety of designs from Barking Bitches | Dog Apparel and Accessories on the fashion catwalk…..or should we say fashion dogwalk !

You will see products to pamper your pooch, functional clothing, working dog clothes and their new diva dog clothing line. Cheer on our models and get some fashion ideas for your dogs!

**RULES-You May Bring Your Pet!**

(1) Your pet must be at least one year old, spayed or neutered and must be on a leash at all times (non-retractable and no longer than 6′) or in a pet enclosure.

(2) Your pet must be up-to-date on all its vaccinations or you should plan to have your pet’s vaccinations at the event. Anyone bringing a pet is required to sign a liability waiver upon entering the Rocky Mountain Pet Expo. To save time feel free to download the waiver and bring the completed form to the show.

Postponed*Meet & Greet at Petco*Feb 22*11-4

POSTPONED! Because of the snow storm blowing it’s way in to Denver we will be postponing this meet and greet until March 1st! So we will have the next two back to back weekends.

Doxie Lovers, the weatherman is saying we may be in for a good bit of snow this weekend. Please check here for updates at the weekend draws closer. We will not bring the kids out if roads are dangerous and we do not want anyone to brave the roads if we will not be there. This is CO though so anything can happen. We could get “0” as easy as 2 ft…….lol
