This Saturday 8/8/15 is the Hogs for Hounds Scavenger Hunt! We will have some great prizes including a $150 Harley Davidson Gift Certificate! Come on out and have some fun while supporting the Doxies with the Denver Dachshunds Rescue and Transport. The hunt ends (last-in 2pm) at Westy Fest. Ride fee is $20…..you can’t even go to the movies for that anymore. If you are coming in a car it is the same fee. 🙂 Dog related donations (bags of food, collars, dog toys, etc.) will earn you extra points! July 11th and 12th the DDRT Crew will be at Tagawa Gardens from 11-3 each day! Come out and meet the Team and some great Furkids!
DDRT has begun to build Liberty Ranch to create a fun, safe place to be able to help many more dachshunds, dachshund mixes and other breeds begin to heal. Many need medical help, emotional stability or just simply love and attention. Liberty Ranch will become that place.
This Saturday May 23rd and Sunday May 24th the DDRT Doxies will be in Loveland at the Mile High Velocity Flyball Team Tournament! Have you ever seen the flyball dogs in action? They are amazing! Meet the doxies and the DDRT team!

STAGE PRESENTATIONS
1pm – The 2015 Rocky Mountain Pet Expo Pet Fashion Show will be spotlighting Barking Bitches apparel from Colorado dog designer Ken Carrick.
Dogs of all sizes will be strutting their stuff in a variety of designs from Barking Bitches | Dog Apparel and Accessories on the fashion catwalk…..or should we say fashion dogwalk !
You will see products to pamper your pooch, functional clothing, working dog clothes and their new diva dog clothing line. Cheer on our models and get some fashion ideas for your dogs!
**RULES-You May Bring Your Pet!**
(1) Your pet must be at least one year old, spayed or neutered and must be on a leash at all times (non-retractable and no longer than 6′) or in a pet enclosure.
(2) Your pet must be up-to-date on all its vaccinations or you should plan to have your pet’s vaccinations at the event. Anyone bringing a pet is required to sign a liability waiver upon entering the Rocky Mountain Pet Expo. To save time feel free to download the waiver and bring the completed form to the show.
DDRT is ready for the first May meet & greet / adoption event this Saturday, May 9th from 11am to 4pm at the Tiffany Plaza Petco. Come out to meet the DDRT Doxie Team and to adopt your new best friend!

POSTPONED! Because of the snow storm blowing it’s way in to Denver we will be postponing this meet and greet until March 1st! So we will have the next two back to back weekends.
Doxie Lovers, the weatherman is saying we may be in for a good bit of snow this weekend. Please check here for updates at the weekend draws closer. We will not bring the kids out if roads are dangerous and we do not want anyone to brave the roads if we will not be there. This is CO though so anything can happen. We could get “0” as easy as 2 ft…….lol
