As some of you know, I will be hosting a donation/adoption event to support Denver Dachshund Rescue and Transport next Sunday, July 19th, from Noon – 3pm.

Denver Dashchund Rescue and Transport is close to my heart, as this is where I found little Sally, who unfortunately passed away in December of last year. The rescue organization helps hundreds of dogs each year and works tirelessly to ensure their safety and health while with them. They go above and beyond to give these beautiful dogs another chance at life. Because of the amazing work they do, I feel it’s important to give back, and part of each commission I earn, will go back to support this organization.
From a donation perspective, they are looking for paper towels, cleaning supplies, dog toys, dog blankets or beds, dog food, and of course any cash donations are appreciated. As well, adoptable dogs will be here and waiting to find their forever homes with you!
We will have giveaways, prizes, and hot dogs on the grill (what else would you expect from a dachshund and dogs event?!?!). 🙂 Please come out and support this organization and the work they do, I promise it will be a lot of fun!
